Certified Translation
Do you need a certified translation for some official educational, legal, or governmental institutions? Send your document to us, and it will undergo the following procedure:
- Translation by a certified translator who knows the applicable rules
- Editing and proofreading
- The translator will issue a statement (signed and sealed) that will officially confirm the accuracy and completeness of the document in the target language

Language Facts
- Serbian is neither completely Latin nor completely Cyrillic: you can see it written in both ways. However, there is a tendency for more Latinization.
- Serbian is not that easy for an English speaker to master as it has genders and cases; moreover, adjectives and verbs change depending on the subject, so you may have a hard time comprehending the subtleties of its grammar.
- If you behave in a strange way in Serbia, they will not say you are crazy – they will just use the local expression “you are a turtle”. Well, it’s just because turtles are rare in Serbia!
- Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin, and Serbian are taught as one language in some universities as they are based on the same dialect. However, never say in a conversation that these are the same nations as the Serbs will be greatly offended.
- Reading Serbian is really easy as the words are written as they are pronounced.
- There are a lot of words in Serbian that describe family relations and relatives: they distinguish between kinship by blood, by law, and by spirit.
Language Tips:
A difficult thing for anyone who produces a text (a writer, a translator, or a copywriter) is to be consistent in tone and style. You are sometimes influenced by your own moods: you return to a complex medical article after a jocular conversation with your spouse and seem to want to bring some relaxation to the serious text… Don’t worry, even professionals do that. Simply think and write down what the audience wants from your text and keep this paper in front of your eyes to jump to the required mood more easily.
Don’t use passive voice outside scientific writings. People don’t like this impersonal way of describing things and it does not generate any emotions.
Good writing (and translation, its younger brother) balances between succinctness and bright images. Dry text will not read well, and neither will a long paragraph with one thought in it or a flowery page where the thought is lost completely. Each specialist has his way of finding this balance, and there is no one-recipe-fits-all here.
